Despite being rather standoffish and sometimes aggressive - though, admittedly, since he was recharging that might have helped some - Cliffjumper almost immediately rolled around and curled up close when that arm was laid across him.

He had, of course, had energon to make up for all that had been burned, but a need for recharge was a need for recharge, especially with all the things that had been going on... and the medic, further, had mandated it as he'd found traces of proof for a sleeper virus, boosted Cliffjumper's antivirus and demanded he recharge so that it could be taken care of.

So recharging was what the minibot was doing, and merely - unknowingly or not - shifted closer to the larger frame beside him.
