Cliffjumper cast a glance at Optimus right before he left the washracks, grumbling quietly. "An' even if ya didn't, Mirage would probably tell you to."

If this thing could just be over so he could go back to normal operation!

Though that meant this little thing would be over, but it wasn't as if it would have been anything... permament anyway. And he hadn't really expected what happened last night to have happened at all.

"Mirage wants to get goin' soon, otherwise he'd have put up a more elaborate meal." With that, he went over to a rather well-hidden energon dispenser and got two cubes, offering up the faintly pearlescent energon to Optimus with a small - perhaps slightly shy - smile and a grip more suitable for offering energon as a host at a function...

But that wasn't so strange, since that was the way Mirage would have taught him, since he would otherwise be served his cubes, not serving them.
