Optimus' compliment - such as it was - caused the minibot to laugh, if slightly embarrassedly, though he did curl his fingers around the larger hand in response and squeeze back, glancing up at the other from under the edge of his helm.

"... Maybe. Doesn't seem so sometimes, but eh... I suppose you're right. Ya should've seen Mirage attemptin' to make me change my speech patterns, though!" Cliffjumper laughed again, turning less self-concious in his pure amusement.

But it was rather quickly interuppted by Cliffjumper freezing, helm tilting and then he looked up at Optimus.
