Cliffjumper did more than just exchange nods; some of them got rather cheery greetings and waves, since while they weren't always at Mirage's, they were well-known in the Towers, so Cliffjumper had seen quite a lot of them from time to time.

"And that would've been annoyin'..." Cliffjumper trailed off and then grinned up at Optimus as he mentioned his new equipment, optics briefly glowing stronger. "Sounds good to me." Eyeing the mech, Cliffjumper wondered what was required to give someone their pick of caste, instead of being stuck in one or the other... He wasn't sure that was, exactly, what he was thinking of, and so didn't express his thought yet, but...

"If ya weren't doin' this, what'd you want to do instead?" That was kind of close to what he was curious about, but not exactly.
