The situation had gone from pleasant to completely mad in only a moment, and his processor was working overtime to plot out his plan. Jazz's pings were concerned, but he and Ratchet both would wait outside the door to the lounge until things got bad.
Optimus nor Jazz were stupid. Megatron was a champion gladiator, and Optimus, while a capable bodyguard in his consort days, had little practical experience with a fight to the death...Which this mysterious coding probably wanted. Harem-coding disabled by this shell program, they would have to surprise him if they wanted to keep both fighters alive.
Optimus slipped off the berth, optics flicking from Megatron's face to the shard through his hand and back again.
"...I'm surprised you're fighting it, honestly enough. Unless someone has slipped a terribly sadistic virus into your system?"
