Optimus automatically slammed on the breaks - even if he hadn't noticed the same thing Cliffjumper had, the direct order would have stopped him just as well. The whole trailer rocked, the little drone flying forward with a high squeal and crashing into the front of the trailer.
He transformed before he was even done stopping, armor digging into the road before he stood, shaking the trailer again, manhandling the weight of it back and drawing his rifle.
Both he and his turret opened fire on the falling bomb - as well as several police mechs that did not dive for cover joining in. It exploded before it hit the street, not that it lessened the shockwave; windows shattering and sending lighter mechs flying back.
::...He's definitely going to call a state of emergency.:: Optimus muttered distantly, optics wide.
