Another wince as the drone flew forward, and he had tried to reach out and snag some part of it, but the drone had been slightly out of his reach even before Optimus had slammed on the brakes. It was also slightly annoying when Optimus transformed and left him inside the trailer and then pushed it around and whatever-frag else.

"Ugh---!" Grimacing, Cliffjumper was busy trying to yank at some lashing that had dug into his hip joint when Optimus had stopped, but he looked up in time to see the gunfire being aimed at the falling bomb. Swearing, Cliffjumper once again instinctively curled up even if he was certainly the best protected of anyone surrounding the trailer.

He felt the shockwave anyway, but more distantly than anything else, a shudder in the metal the trailer was made of.
