It was... interesting... to see the Prime do something as unselfconscious as laughing so deeply and easily. In a way, also pleasing. But letting himself be affected by such a simple thing as laughter was foolish.

"Of course." The reply and arched look said he didn't believe Optimus was being completely honest; while he did knew it affected most things on some level, he knew very well it did not affect everything. It was a recent understanding from interacting with some of his rebels, but recent didn't meant he didn't have a good grip on it.

"Really, now, Prime. There's a difference between being given and offered such things as time, attention, opinions, questions... Another thing entierly to take any one of those things." He might have snorted as well, but the look he gave the Prime... dark, not so much from any disapproval at the rumble, and what was being said, as just... intent. Challenging, perhaps.

"Hmmm. If I were to read all of these, it'd take about a joor. I doubt I have the resources to make you wait for that time." Nonetheless, he did pick up the datapad again, to finish the story he was already reading which didn't take more than another breem.

Then the chip was taken out, the datapad put down, and both chips put in the little rack, before Megatron abuptly stood up.

"Lets go, then."

Apparently he did not have any issues with 'taking' any offers given, implicit or not and certainly no problem with taking charge.
