Since they were already in the air and moving when Optimus kicked, Megatron ignored it, doing his level best to get on top and pin the mech instead, though he did not mind working from a more disadvantageous position; those positions didn't necessarily stay as a disadvantage.

"Perhaps," Megatron said, actually laughing briefly, the noise dropping deep in harmony with his growling engine as he simply turned his helm to the side, letting the Prime's elbow hit the side and front edge of his helm with a clang.

"But no. I haven't even been talking about interface, if that's what you think." Megatron smirked as instead of blocking the foot going for his midsection, he let it hit, a brief convulsion and a grimace the only reaction to the pain it had caused, then grabbed the foot, jamming his fingers up around the insides and cables of the ankle usually protected by armour from any other angle and pulled.

At the same time, he hit the center of Optimus' chestplates with the heel of his other hand, using the momentum to topple the Prime backwards, and surge up on top of the slightly shorter mech.

"While taking from someone you have absolute power over of course pertains to this situation... From what I have seen in general, I'm not convinced you'll be able to do what you say you want to do without taking this angle into account. I'm merely giving pointers." Megatron quirked the upper edge of an optic, gripping one of Optimus hands and forcing it down on the floor while his other went for his neck, slamming his helm into the floor beneath.
