Could crush, yes, but that wasn't what he was doing, or even remotely intending to do... Even if their struggle and his tightening grip meant the metal was denting beneath his fingers, and faint strains of the consort programming was pinging warnings at him, if not lashing out. Yet.

"Yes. And too little can lose you everything, even when... too much would do the same... admittedly." Megatron ground out as they struggled, and he was annoyed Optimus had managed to get a good enough leverage (for the moment, depending on how long he could hold out) that flipping them proved... problematic.

Also problematic was admitting that Optimus might be correct... Not so much because the Prime might be right, but admitting to himself that he might default to using (too much) power or force even when it might not be warranted... or showed itself to be the wrong reaction.

"I suppose you also---rrgh... hope to be the one to---" The sentence was cut off with a verbal snarl and a roar from his engine when Optimus slammed his mask into his faceplates, and Megatron heaved, angling his leg and kicking out with his knee for the foot Optimus was balancing and leveraging himself on.
