It was a distant relief that he had not yet been honestly attacked with murderous intent. He had faith in the viral patches and Ratchet's skills, but the deep caution that had kept him alive so far, both as Prime and within his previous roles had served him well so far.
Hopefully it would stay that way. He didn't know if he could actually fend off an attack while already grappling.

He grunted when his joint was grabbed, the sound slowly growing into a pained snarl; his jerky twists were doing nothing to free him from Megatron's relentless grip, even as his own hold on the gladiator's wrist tightened.
Hip already spasming and flashing error messages, Optimus jerked down, aiming to headbutt the other mech again.
