"Oh, really, now?" Megatron's smirk grew more amused than smug, especially as Optimus cut himself off. "Purity of spark does not require a sharp processor, Prime." The grin grew sharp and toothy in response to the incredulous look, before he collected himself, cocking his helm as he looked down on Optimus.
"I could be convinced. I wasn't aware you were willing to risk such vulnerability with your frame and spark in my hands, especially as you are perfectly reasonably keeping other things from me." Even he he could not harm the Prime.
That didn't really mean anything, though... Or perhaps it did. Perhaps Optimus was willing to trust the program in such a way that he'd lay himself open for a criminal. Briefly, the sparklights on Megatron's chestplates flickered and strengthened.
