It was both pleasing and interesting to have the Prime actually stand still and not turn around with him as he circled him. Not that he was going to push up right behind him or anything... Not now, at least, but Megatron did close the distance slightly, which allowed his admittedly widely spaced field to probably just brush against the Prime's before he finally stopped in front of him again, only marginally pulling his field back to where it usually was...
Which was at a greater distance from himself than others might keep it, but it was as much a question of being "in touch" with those around him, as a dominance move. Both, in one, and one he'd picked up when feeding his little rebellion.
"And you actually listen... are you trusting them as well?" Because even advisors (especially trusted ones) could filter information as more suited to them, the situations or the outcomes they wanted to see... or had been bribed to provide.
Of course, this was a very cynical stance. However, Megatron did frown, actually quite surprised to hear both about actually listening directly to members of the populace, and the travels.
"You reinstated that function, then?" Megatron's helm tilted thoughtfully, but he would reserve judgment; just because the mech was listening didn't mean he'd take them into account. Even if the worker bill was a point in his favour.
"Cybertron is large, Prime. Do you actually go where you get to see what you need?" But he would indeed be interested in coming along, merely for the experience and seeing what the Prime did... Not that he might not tailor it to allow Megatron to see what would suit Optimus to allow him to see.
