That... was actually rather impressive as a goal, if he did it, if he took away anything from it. Staring quietly as the Prime spoke, Megatron was beginning to feel impressed against his own will.
It all fit with what he'd already said, and if it was true? Mmhm. Maybe he'd need to defuse his own building rebellion. But that was a maybe still, despite how the words resonated.
"You seem to at least have put some thought and planning into this," he finally said with a grunt, and then just snorted. Indeed Optimus didn't need to tell a rebel leader like Megatron how often he got threatened to life and limb.
"Pre-announced death-threats are scare-mongering tacticts and attempts at creating instability. Amatuerish, but effective."
Calling it getting cute was really all such behaviour deserved.

You don't really seem the type for something... supposedly worse than that." He looked Optimus up and down as he said it, not so much checking him out he already knew the Prime was attractive as playing with/relaying the intent of what was said.
And the fact that no, Optimus himself, at least from what Megatron had seen, didn't really strike him as particularly... kinky. Being an escort was one thing, personal preferences another.
