"And most of them shouldn't be worth the time or effort... either yours or in general," Megatron said with a grumble, more annoyed that they had to wait, and that Optimus was wasting time and effort over it. There were good and useful senators, yes, and those deserved it, but the rest?
They should just get rid of them all - shouldn't be too hard - and keep the worthwhile ones. Megatron almost ignored the questions to make a pointed one of his own of when they'd start putting this right and doing their reveals but managed to rein himself in. Barely.
He'd press his difficult and delightful Prime later. Later as in tomorrow or later, most probably. Tonight, thanks to his finds and the potential of that decorative pit, would be... busy.
"While I certainly have preferences and you fit them reasonably well, good looks and interface wouldn't have me staying, my dear Prime." Megatron leaned against the arm rest, purring out the words. He'd almost decided to be more insulting or coy about it, but he supposed he could give Optimus this.
"If your ideas and how you argue them weren't interesting in the least, I'd have left already." Bluntly said and bluntly meant, all traces of teasing rumble in his voice gone. Even with their full merge last night, he'd have left. A merge wouldn't force him to stay, and he was free of the chains of the convict-consort programming.
