Optimus allowed himself to appear as though he was thinking that answer over for a good moment. But his satisfied smirk gave him away soon enough.
"...Good. If you only gave a frag about my frame you would have been useless as a Highlord and better off left as a herem-mech." Optimus nodded, satisfied.
"So far it seems we are both useful to the other. Sounds like a good start to me. There have been worse."
The had Matrix none-too-subtly 'reminded' him of how a future Prime and a Highlord seeking his partner walked into a bar...and promptly beat the scrap out of each other. Several times. The Prime nearly died and the Highlord fell from grace before the two of them managed to get along enough to be useful.
Thankfully, that didn't seem to be their fate.
"Perhaps I'll tell you about them sometime. I'll be back later tonight. Try not to change the world too much without me, hm?" A nod and a low chuckle, and he was off.
