It seemed he hadn't just managed to hit the hidden wound, but gotten his weapon stuck in it as well. So to speak. It was frustrating on its own, but Megatron doubted even time and more familiarity with each other would necessarily have given Optimus the trust to believe him that he wasn't going to leave him high and dry as soon as he could and had the power to do so.
One could think what had happened after the merge last night would have proven something of that, but no. It grated. It grated enough his engine rattled out of tune with a growl, but it was probably (hopefully) lost among everything else.
"Honestly, Optimus, I think I'm starting to get a bit hurt here." The hand playing around his Prime's valve simply stopped and he moved it to lay splayed out between pelvic plating and the grille covering his abdomen, the heel of his hand carefully laid to hinder any attempt to close up the panel.
Despite the words, which were honest... Megatron sounded more sarcastic than anything else. He didn't feel like putting too much of himself out there at the moment.
Despite the issue of... hah, trust, that implied.
"Your conclusions are your own, right or not, but a bit of goodwill, no matter how... unfortunately, I chose to go about this would be appreciated. You can always spank me later if your expectations are fulfilled." While he'd stopped any direct stimulation, he managed to keep his voice in that too-low register, even now.
Not really to tease or taunt Optimus, but because he'd felt the heavy, tingling charge even just tracing the rim of the valve, as well as having the hand of his heel up against Optimus' spike. He didn't exactly want Optimus to overload immediately when he did something more... substantive, even if he had no doubt he could easily gather all the charge again.
That wasn't the point here, no matter how fun multiple overloads were to cause.
