"Perhaps." There was enough agreement in Megatron's single word to reveal that he acknowledged that he had had said time, but enough reticience to hopefully imply that he didn't believe it to have been possible.
Because he sorely doubted Optimus would have agreed to this if he'd told Optimus that "I notice you have issues, let me try to fix them". Right. Besides, if he'd told him, the effect would probably be less than it would hopefully turn out to be.
"I think we might be talking too much." With that proclamation, carefully keeping his hand away from spike and valve but in the way of the panel and stroking the stomach grille lazily, Megatron angled over and kissed Optimus.
He knew his Prime liked that, so he'd... give in. Be nice. It wouldn't make him overload or add to the charge noticeably, so hopefully some of the collected charge would dissipate a little while he slowly pushed in, letting his tongue thouroughly explore with just a hint of static charge to literally electrify the friction they created.
He hadn't been able to help the narrowed, hesitant look he gave OPtimus right before he did that, however, because he wasn't sure if Optimus meant what he'd said or not.
