O: "No."

He was firing even before he said it, ignoring the others as they scrambled to get back up and take him out; instead targeting the femme with skilled, lethal intent with the rifle.

The first blast sheered through her gun-arm at the shoulder joint, taking out the main threat to his charge; the second and third hit in her midsection. Her armor was tough, and so it didn't blast straight through her, but it was enough to throw her backward with a screech, arcing out through damaged plating.

CJ: She really ought to have pulled the minibot up against her if she'd have wanted to avoid that happening, and she was certainly out of the running as a threat now. That didn't do anything about the other two, however, who by now were flying across the alley to land at the roof with easy rolls.

One of them - a neon green and electric blue race-alt mech - was aiming shots at Optimus as he crossed the alley and then squeezed off a few shots again and for some reason tossed himself right at the bodyguard. The intricate, wire-mesh device he had wrapped around one hand and attempted to punch Optimus with might have revealed why he went in close. The second had aimed at the stretch of roof between bodyguard and charge, to, if Optimus had had time to even start on getting closer, keep the two separate.

Engine revving in frustration, Cliffjumper was pulling the now-severed arm off the stasis-gun. It wasn't any better a weapon than a glass gas gun, but it'd be something as the third mech approached, smirking.
