It took a little while for Optimus to come back to himself, lost in the exhausted contentment that came after such an overload.
"Hnn?" He grunted, lazily onlining a single optic. Right. The bonds.
"Perhaps."
Despite his words, Optimus moved to fulfill Megatron's request after only a moment. Hands unusually heavy, he managed to unlatch the cuffs on Megatron's legs and wrists, letting the manacles fall to the ground. The collar took a little more doing; he was forced to pull away from his exhausted slump on Megatron's frame, looking his Highlord in the optic as he worked the cuff around his neck until it at last fell free.
It felt like a more important event than it probably should have; freeing the collar from the mech yet again, this time with cables still buried plug-deep in his frame.
