Bumblebee is infinitely more agreeable to watch and be around than the Senator, and not even Arcee was as jovial. The two of them interacting lift his spirits as he continues to scan the party with no sign of the missing guards.
When Bumblebee finally departs, Optimus grants him the same nodding-bow he gave Arcee.

He chuckled over the comm, glancing around as they made their way to the elevators. Most of the party goers were still on the floor, and still no sign of either Ratbat or his missing mechs. He wanted to relax - they were almost in the clear, but he wasn't that unprofessional.
