If the elevator ride seemed a bit long, Optimus didn't consciously notice until Cliffjumper pointed it out. He hadn't much paid any attention to the ride up the tower the first time. But he was instantly on guard, taking a stance between the red mech and the doors.
"Where is it taking us?" He glanced over at the floor indicator as it continued to drop. "...My comm is jammed. Must be a local scrambler on the elevator car itself. Can't get a signal out."
