Optimus did a double-take at the sight of Cliffjumper suddenly welding one of the guns from the fight. He'd almost forgotten that they weren't on him after the chaos of the street battle, and that kind of sloppy behavior could get them both killed.

"Here, pass me the other gun. I'm going to see if we can get this access hatch open." He pointed to the roof of the elevator car, already stretching up and giving it a punch - and hitting it again when it doesn't budge.
"It could be booby-trapped, but it's the best way to get out a signal if we can't get out of here."
Unfortunately, right at that moment, the car slid to a smooth stop and dinged as it arrived and the pre-programmed floor deep in the basement.
Towers Technology. Even the elevators are ridiculously fast. Too bad for them.
