::On it, on i---augh!:: Cliffjumper's gun suddenly fell quiet as drone fell from the ceiling... or at least further up the stairwell and onto the gun, four spindly legs clutched onto the barrel, but the real threat were the slender, autonomously moving cables being unspooled from its front, under its single optic.
Hacker drone.
It's not durable, it's not large... technically, on its own the drone couldn't do much, even if it managed to get plugged in, but it's most probably remote-accessed, with a real hacker behind the actual reins. Cliffjumper swore, and, in pure reaction, slammed the gun into Optimus' back, and then whacked it onto the railing as they passed.
::Drones!:: Optimus, however, probably already knew that, and Cliffjumper's finding it hard to concentrate on attempting to shoot the silvery flickers when he's nervously looking for--
::GAH! Geddoff, get off, ya processor-munchin', scrap-heap ball!:: One hand flailing, Cliffjumper yanked the drone off his helm and lobbed it at the wall, picking up the one he saw on Optimus' other shoulder and tossed it too, even as he managed a few more shots.
Maybe there are guards beneath them, maybe not, but they suddenly have a lot more opposition.
