There was a surprised huff as he's scooped up again, but Cliffjumper grabbed what he could to hold on, and tossed the gun behind him; Optimus was right, no idea holding onto it if it was that bad, empty or not.
::Fragging Ratbat... I shoulda got a temporary reformat or somethin'... Then they'd just attempt to kill me.:: The grumble's not serious, but the day has been long, and he hadn't really needed energon after they came back from escaping the mob, as he hadn't been injured.
He was a lot more fuel efficient than bigger mechs, but that sometimes meant Cliffjumper overestimated how long he'd last. And it wasn't as if this sort of continuous strain was something usual.
As it was, the red mini was slightly more slumped against his bodyguard than earlier, and his optics were definitely dimmer. He wasn't about to go into recharge... yet... but there was a definite throttling of activity.
