Cliffjumper had almost completely cycled down into recharge when they came back to the Towers, but managed to abort it for long enough to walk upright by himself to get back to the apartments Mirage claimed as his own.
Compared to before when they got checked over and then prepared for the party, this time there was only one medic who checked over and repaired both Optimus and Cliffjumper, in the same room and with Mirage standing over his by-now recharging protége.
Offering the bodyguard a cube himself as the medic left, the white-and-blue blue frowned.
"Considering what just happened, I'm not inclined to trust even the guards I have in my employ until this is over. I want you in his room. The berth, even." Mirage was firm, and it was clear from his expression that even if Cliffjumper had been conscious and had protested, he wouldn't have been swayed.
