One part was reacting to the nearly agressive flare of Orion's field with a full threat-assessment, but since Megatron knew the situation wouldn't come to literal blows, the result of said assessment was put aside.
The rest he had to quickly yank back, tamping down his engine and simply let the sudden rush of charge flow through. His optics had gone a bit bright, however.

He would also not push Orion up against the wall, or get down on his knees in front of him.
