Shifting back more properly as Orion settled on the berth, Megatron decided that despite his discomfort, it had been a good idea to leave his usually attached weapons at his quarters at the arena.
Not only had that probably made sure there was less staring earlier in the evening, but it had guaranteed there'd been no need to stop at any point to remove them so they wouldn't be in the way, now or earlier.
As such, there was no hindrance to simply laying back and having Orion lay partly on top of him, and while his field expanded outwards reflexively to give forwards advance if it might turn out necessary, otherwise Megatron relaxed quickly into recharge, one arm over Orion's back.
