At some point he might have asked Orion for his help, maybe, but since he knew Orion's dislike of gladiator business, he'd been content to keep that part to the side, as much as possible.
It wasn't as if Orion hadn't reached out and shown interest where he was comfortable to do so, and Megatron had shown him what parts he thought he might enjoy - like the matches that relied on skill more than actual beatdowns, like the "slow dance" combat moves tournament.
