He still huffed, following after the minibot as he broke Comm Lockdown to ping Jazz his update. Even if it was encoded, the message was simple: 'Botched and Extracting Plus One. Requesting Visible Cover'. Jazz would understand enough to know that he had 'friendly' company, and that his invisibility was currently not an option. The human acronym FUBAR would have been quite apt as well.
"...No. I only have room for the one." He was reluctant to admit it to a mech that seemed to have it out for him, but with his vision compromised and Cliffjumper's hand damaged, they needed to know their resources.
