Mirage didn't think much of the slow response at first, too caught up in his own plodding and frozen misery. His own processor was feeling rather sluggish already; for long moments, he was caught up on the ridiculousness of their use of the parachutes, rather like the humans and how they clung to their blankets.
If only the parachutes were as effective.
Mirage had to half-stumble, left knee - repaired extensively in the last year, still occasionally sore - briefly locking up on him. He grunted, catching himself quickly enough, only to cast a glance back toward Cliffjumper.
...Why was he so far behind?
