Mirage slapped a fist down at the snow, sending ice fragments flying, cold-weakened optics flaring bright again in his fit of temper.

"This isn't about pride, for once! You're slowing down, I'm stiffening up, and at this rate, we won't be able to move to make it to any shelter and wait for rescue."

Mirage sniffed, jerking a cold-stiff hand toward his back.

"Now get on. It will be warmer for us both this way."
