Electing to ignore Cliffjumper's twitchy field by pointedly relaxing his own, Mirage tightened his grip in direct opposition. He was stubbornly trying to eke out every last iota of possible warmth from this arrangement - even if he had to mesh their plating together to do it.

Maybe if they actually survived this, things wouldn't be so tense? ...Or maybe it would just make things worse. Who could tell, with minibots?

Despite his apparent 'relaxation', Mirage finally allowed himself to crank up his engine, burning valuable fuel and energon to try and heat them both up.
