Mirage wouldn't say so out loud, but it wasn't just about being reassured that he was back in Autobot hands safely. Reassuring himself that the mech he had near frozen to status lock with was still functional was also important.
...You don't survive such a situation with someone without developing some sort of concern for them, after all.
