Several chuckles sounded out, and he allowed his pleasure at their departure to shine through with a smile of his own.
"If you'll just follow the guards, they will guide you all safely to your rides for the evening. I would stay to chat, but I wish to personally oversee the investigation, I'm sure you understand. I hope the rest of your evening is far less eventful."
He would have preferred to meet Elita halfway, but that would betray his true focus - not that it would be completely unexpected, just in a different context - and he didn't want to get caught by the crowd. Instead, he pinged her, offering an arm when she drew near.
